The Plane will Take off - in Few Minutes
Voice over - Calling for the Last Time
The Airline and Flight number
The Boarding Gate is too far-
From Immigration
While We're running
Seeing the Clock-
Makes my Heart Palpitate
Asking for help
From the staff
Guard asked
How many passengers left
Steward and Stewardess
Showed up
Giving our Tickets - no return
The Jet Bridge - is already close
Wondering - where is the Plane
Going down on - the Runway
Airplane Plug Door opens -
For Us -
Fact: Let me tell you about this poem, it was based on a true story. I and my kinsfolk (mother side) were bound to Hong Kong and something happened. We're already late for the boarding time, so while running I can see the clock in a few minutes it's already our flight. I told the guard "Sir, 14 po kami." And he asked for the flight number. He sent the news through his radio (walkie talkie) The gate is still far. We're not yet on the plane but the steward and the stewardess were already there, they took our tickets. The stewardess told me and my cousin, "sige na po pumunta na kayo doon kami na bahala sa mga kasama ninyo." The moment we stepped on the plane almost everyone looking at us.
